Para aquellos que estén físicamente en Panamá para las reuniones LACNIC 32 y LACNOG 2019, el día *Jueves 10 de Octubre a las 18:00 hr* aproximadamente (luego del término de las sesiones de LACNOG) en la *sala 9* del mismo lugar de la conferencia, junto a Hugo Salgado de NIC Chile y quien les escribe, les invitamos a participar en una sesión de BoF para conversar temas sobre DNS y el Working Group DNS de LACNOG.
La agenda tentativa para esa jornada es la siguiente:

El único requisito para participar es estar inscrito, traer su credencial de la reunión LACNOG y estar interesados en asistir a esta jornada trayendo sus comentarios, inquietudes, ideas y cualquier otro tema que sea relacionado con el mundo DNS.
La reunión no durará más de 1 hora. Hasta el momento no tenemos asignado audio/video para participantes remotos, pero si existe interés en participar a distancia, por favor responda a este mismo correo en forma privada, e intentaremos dar algún acceso.

Me pongo mi sombrerito de defensor de la privacidad y de no darle nuestros datos a las empresas en bandeja de plata.
Usa Jitsi, es una plataforma de videoconferencia que sigue estándares, y para la cual no hace falta ningún tipo de registro. Basta con que entres a:
https://meet.jit.si/el_nombre_de_mi_charla
Y ahí se pueden conectar todos los interesados, sin necesidad de ser usuarios de Zoom. En computadoras funciona desde el navegador; en móviles requiere del uso de una aplicación.
Jitsi en nuestra experiencia funciona bien con hasta unos ~10 usuarios conectados. Más allá, puedes conectarlo hacia una cuenta de Youtube, desde donde se retransmite en vivo. Sí, para eso sí hace falta cuenta

Yo no participe, pero he leído el resumen y hay algo que creo que debe ser tenido en muy en cuenta "no es oro todo lo que reluce".
El fomento del uso de privacidad de DNS implica que DNS64 deja de funcionar.
Este documento, que presente en el pasado LACNOG: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-v6ops-nat64-deployment/
que esta esperando a que haga la ultima revisión (solo editorial) el RFC editor, y por lo tanto se le asigne el número de RFC, lo explica en la sección 4.4.
La solución es obvia, utilizar 464XLAT *SIN* DNS64, pero todo tiene sus pros y contras. Ver la comparativa de escenarios (3.3). No es un tema fácil, se tome la opción que se tome.
